Provide leadership in the management of three student- operated co-curricular media organizations within the Roy H. Prk School of Communications: Ithaca College Television (ICTV), WICB-FM, Internet radio station VIC. Coordinate television and radio programming and studio schedules, mentor student producers, on-air talent, and managers. Ensure efficient use of resources and high quality of programming that is publicly distributed. Work with faculty, staff, alumni, and other professionals with expertise in radio and television production and programming to provide training to students. Prepare and file license renewals for WICB-FM and maintain current knowledge of Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and cable television regulations. Advise students on appropriate underwriting, sales, promotion, publicity and fund-raising efforts. Oversee project and operating budgets and ensure compliance with Ithaca College policies and procedures and with state and federal regulatory agencies.
