The Director of Broadcast and Digital Media will serve as the on-air talent for the Conference and be responsible for owning the production process from start to finish: conceptualizing, coordinating, writing, shooting, and editing videos for the Conference’s website, social media accounts, in-venue video boards, and television commercials. This position will produce highlight and interview packages; behind-the-scenes features; student-athlete, coach, and administrator profiles; social media “hype” videos; and other duties as assigned. This position will support the Big Sky Conference and its member institutions to promote and enhance all entities through digital video and social media.
The Director of Broadcast and Digital Media will report directly to the Assistant Commissioner for Communications and External Relations. The successful candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, a good communicator, and possess the ability to handle numerous assignments in a timely manner. Must be proficient in video and editing.

Essential functions include:
Produce, shoot, and edit a range of high-quality creative video content for use across the Big Sky Conference’s various social media channels, in-venue video boards and marketing commercials with limited supervision.
Serve as the on-camera host and producer for the Big Sky Conference’s in-person and virtual media day events for multiple sports on ESPN+, including the Big Sky Football Kickoff, Big Sky Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tip-Off and others as assigned.
Serve as an on-camera host and producer for the Big Sky Conference’s Courtside pregame, halftime and postgame live shows at the league’s Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships in Boise, Idaho, that air on ESPN+.
Travel to all Big Sky Championships throughout the year to provide video coverage of the event as well as feature story opportunities with student-athletes and coaches around the league.
Collaborate with Communications and Marketing teams to produce innovative and engaging content for social media platforms, including GIFs, animations, short videos, and other social media-specific content.
Produce, edit, and host FCS ALL-IN show each week of the football season that airs on ESPN+.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to meet quick deadlines while creating high-quality videos.
Strong experience with on-camera interviews.
Efficient audio and video editing skills.
Expertise in managing the full production process and producing high-quality videos, including proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
Collaborate with the Conference Office staff to execute creative media strategies, concepts, and trend setting ideas.
Extremely organized, self-starter, intrinsically motivated with strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines and proven ability to multi-task effectively.
